CST publishes the annual DRA report for 2025

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has published the 2025 annual report for the Digital regulatory Academy (DRA), which aims to introduce the academy, its inception and objectives, explain its educational tracks, and share its notable achievements and training programs.

The report showcase the Saudi pioneering role in building digital regulatory capacity at the international level, which has been commended by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Since its establishment in 2021, the Academy has contributed to developing and empowering professionals to lead in digital policy and regulatory fields, delivering digital training content to more than 900 trainees from over 100 countries.

The report also highlighted the Academy’s major accomplishments in 2025, including the implementation of 8 professional training programs and 4 executive programs, in addition to offering a specialized professional certificate within its programs for compliance and regulatory affairs officers. These initiatives benefited more than 500 local and international trainees from 30 countries, along with 42 entities that participated in the programs.

The report shed light on the Academy's international collaboration efforts throughout the previous year to conduct training programs with leading global partners, such as HEC Paris, the ITU, and UC Berkeley Executive Education.

The DRA was established by CST to strengthen the Kingdom’s position in advancing digital regulatory capacity at both the local and international levels, in the light of the rapid transformations in the digital economy and the need to enhance regulatory readiness, with the aim of building an advanced knowledge environment that contributes to adopting the best global practices.
