Free streaming network wedotv has entered the in‑car entertainment market for the first time through a new partnership with 3 Screen Solutions (3SS), integrating a selection of its FAST Channels into the 3Ready Content Bundle used by automotive OEMs across Europe.
The agreement, announced by wedotv SVP Global Business Development Iza Piotrowska and 3SS Head of Content Partnerships Anna Michalowska, will see wedotv channels incorporated into systems powered by the 3Ready Automotive platform, including the recently launched Škoda Play service.
Under the deal, 3SS will distribute a curated, fully localised line‑up of wedotv channels tailored to individual markets. These include wedotv movies for the UK, Italy, DACH, Benelux and the Nordics; wedotv auta (pictured) for Poland; wedotv True Stories for DACH; and the globally offered wedotv cars and wedotv Big Stories.
According to Piotrowska, the move reflects wedotv’s long‑standing strategy of making its channels available on as many platforms as possible. “Working with 3SS allows us to extend that reach into the in‑car environment,” she noted.
Michalowska added: “Bringing engaging, relevant content into the car is not about volume; it’s about content fit, localisation, and seamless integration,” she said. “wedotv strengthens our content ecosystem with a diverse portfolio of FAST Channels that are already proven across multiple markets.”
Škoda Play is currently available in selected models, with video playback restricted to when the vehicle is stationary.
