Bahrain’s iGA delivers over 900 services through digital channels

Bahrain’s Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) continues to expand its digital service footprint, now offering more than 900 services through its online platforms as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing digital transformation efforts.

The services are accessible عبر a range of digital channels, including government portals and mobile applications, enabling citizens and residents to complete transactions without visiting physical service centres. These include services related to civil records, business licensing, and other administrative processes.

The expansion reflects Bahrain’s sustained investment in e-government infrastructure, with a focus on improving accessibility, efficiency, and user experience. By centralising services across digital platforms, the iGA is streamlining interactions between users and government entities while reducing processing times.

The initiative also supports broader national objectives around digital adoption and service modernisation, aligning with regional trends where governments are prioritising integrated platforms to deliver public services at scale.

Bahrain has been recognised for its progress in e-government, with continued efforts to enhance platform capabilities and expand service coverage.
