Movistar Plus+ has expanded its basketball coverage through an agreement with DAZN, making two Liga Endesa games per matchday available to all subscribers.
Under the arrangement, selected matches are carried on the main Movistar Plus+ channel and Vamos por M+, giving broader access to Spain’s top domestic basketball competition at a key stage of the season.
The deal means that while full coverage of the Liga Endesa remains available via DAZN Basketball channels for Movistar Sports subscribers, a curated selection of matches is now being made available to the wider Movistar Plus+ base.
For Matchday 26, the featured fixtures include Unicaja vs Valencia Basket and Kosner Baskonia vs Dreamland Gran Canaria, both with implications for the playoff race.
The expanded distribution reflects a broader trend of cooperation between pay TV operators and streaming platforms, with DAZN content increasingly integrated into third-party platforms to extend reach.
Movistar Plus+ said its sports offer now includes domestic and international basketball competitions, including EuroLeague, FIBA events and NBA coverage, alongside Liga Endesa.
