The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) emphasises seamless mobile connectivity for all telecom users.
PTA advised all cellular mobile users to ensure that their Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) are valid and up to date.
SIMs linked to cancelled, expired CNICs, or deceased individuals may be processed for blocking.
All cellular mobile users are encouraged to renew their expired CNICs without delay, resolve any CNIC cancellation issues with NADRA, and ensure that SIMs are not registered against the CNIC of a deceased person to avoid any service disruption.
This initiative underscores PTA’s steadfast commitment to safeguarding consumer interests while promoting a secure, compliant, and reliable telecom ecosystem nationwide.
