Tejas Networks announced that it has received a purchase order to supply 4G Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions for a mobile network expansion project in South Asia, according to a company press release dated March 16.
The Bengaluru-based telecom equipment company said its 4G multiband radio products will be deployed at multiple locations across the mobile operator’s network, supporting the expansion of wireless connectivity infrastructure in the region.
Expanding international wireless presence
Sanjay Malik, Chief Strategy and Business Officer at Tejas Networks, said the order represents another step in the company’s strategy to expand its international wireless business and global deployment of its 4G and 5G mobility solutions.
He added that the company aims to strengthen its presence in the customer’s network while replicating similar deployments across other mobile networks globally.

Tejas Networks offers a wireless portfolio that includes 4G and 5G RAN products along with a converged 4G/5G core solution, designed to support multi-band and multi-mode operations for telecom operators.
The company’s TJ1400 UltraFlex baseband platform integrates wireless, broadband, transport, and IP network technologies into a single compact system, helping telecom operators reduce network deployment costs while improving scalability.
