CST announce the readiness of its operational plans in the ICT services throughout Ramadan 1447 H

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) announced the readiness of its operational plans and the completion of preparations for the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H.

Thanks to the unlimited support and enablement provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and H.R.H. Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as a follow-up by H.E. the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of CST, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Alswaha., and H.E. Eng. Haytham Alohali, CST Governor, to ensure the delivery of advanced digital services that facilitate Umrah performers and worshipers, and enhance their overall experience.

In collaboration with service providers, the sector has leveraged its full capabilities to enhance and reinforce digital infrastructure, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted services.

Preparations have included expanding 5G technologies around the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque and their surrounding areas to provide high-speed connectivity that supports digital applications.

Wireless network coverage has also been broadened across public facilities to enable smooth access to services and online platforms, in coordination with relevant entities.

Furthermore, specialized engineering and technical teams are operating around the clock to monitor network performance, maintain service quality, and resolve any technical issues ensuring a seamless and integrated digital connectivity experience for the Guests of Allah throughout Ramadan.

As the national regulator of the communications and technology sector, CST continues to dedicate all its resources to facilitating high-quality ICT services for visitors to the Holy Mosques, in alignment with the leadership’s commitment to serving Umrah performers and worshipers by prioritizing their care.
