Sky says it will offer Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix and Hayu together inside one Sky TV subscription, positioning Sky Stream, Sky Glass and Sky Q as a single “home screen” for the major streaming brands.
The offer marks a major statement by the Comcast-owned platform, in part creating the natural replacement for the linear channels that have previously provided the backbone for the Sky service.
New customers will be able to take Sky Ultimate TV from £24 (€27.51) a month, with Sky stating the pack will include Sky TV plus Netflix, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads and Hayu, alongside Sky’s own channels and originals.
For existing customers, Sky says the services will be added as part of the Sky TV experience, with Disney+ Standard with Ads due to arrive in March (exact date TBC), HBO Max launching in the UK and Ireland on 26 March, and Hayu added from July, with a sample of Hayu programming available from March.
Sophia Ahmad, Chief Consumer Officer at Sky, said the move “marks a new era for Sky and NOW”, bringing the services together “in a single Sky TV subscription” and fully integrating them into the platform experience.
The new arrangement is part of new multi-year distribution partnership covering the UK and Ireland. Sky says eligible Sky TV customers will receive Disney+ Standard with Ads as part of their subscription from March, with the option to upgrade to Standard or Premium while retaining the saving.
Sky also plans to launch a Disney+ Cinema channel for Sky Cinema customers, adding a curated movie feed alongside on-demand access in the Disney+ app.
Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed HBO Max will launch in the UK and Ireland on Thursday 26 March 2026, with Sky listed among its launch distribution partners.
Sky says HBO Max Basic with Ads will be included for Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers on Ultimate TV, and for Sky Q customers, while NOW Entertainment customers will be moved to a combined NOW Entertainment & HBO Max membership at no extra cost versus their current Entertainment plan.
Hayu will be included in Sky’s subscription from July, with Sky highlighting day-and-date access to major reality franchises, and promising prominent placement and discovery from the Sky homepage. A selection of Hayu titles will be available earlier, from March.
Sky says the combined line-up will be surfaced through Sky OS on Stream and Glass, including personalised recommendations, cross-app Continue Watching (extended to Disney+ and Hayu), unified playlists and voice search across services.
