waipu.tv has agreed a new content partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment Deutschland, bringing three thematic channels and a sizeable catalogue expansion to the German TV streaming platform.
The deal adds Series Universe, Retro Serien and Movie Universe to waipu.tv, comprising more than 250 films and 30 series with over 100 seasons from the Sony Pictures library. The channels are available to all waipu.tv customers, with titles also accessible on demand via the waiputhek.
Series Universe focuses on contemporary US drama, crime and action series, including Justified, The Shield and L.A.’s Finest. Retro Serien shows classic series, featuring titles such as Bewitched, Charlie’s Angels, Dawson’s Creek, I Dream of Jeannie and Parker Lewis Can’t Lose. Movie Universe screens films spanning multiple decades and genres, from action and drama to family entertainment, drawing on Sony Pictures’ broader catalogue.
