HD+ and Dyn roll out joint sports subscription

German TV platform HD+ and sports streaming service Dyn have launched a joint subscription bundle, offering a discounted package for DTH satellite and streaming households in Germany.

The 12-month subscription links HD+ with access to Dyn’s live and on-demand sports service, covering handball, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and hockey. Pricing for the satellite version of HD+ with Dyn is set at €14.50 per month. Based on standard standalone prices of €6.99 per month for HD+ and €14.50 for Dyn, customers save €83.88 over the year, according to the companies.

The satellite-focused offer targets households receiving commercial broadcasters in HD via Astra (19.2° East), regardless of whether they use the HD+ TV app, an HD+ module or an HD+ receiver.

A second bundle aimed at internet-based TV viewing combines HD+ Stream with Dyn for €17.99 per month. Compared with regular prices of €9.99 per month for HD+ Stream and €14.50 per month for Dyn on an annual subscription, the package represents a saving of €78 per year.

HD+ Stream provides live TV with more than 100 HD channels, two parallel streams and access to broadcaster catch-up content from public and commercial networks. The service runs without dedicated reception hardware on a range of TV sticks and boxes, selected smart TVs and mobile devices, including platforms such as Amazon Fire TV, Magenta TV, waipu.tv and Google TV.

Dyn’s streaming service offers live coverage and on-demand content across multiple sports, including full seasons, play-offs and finals. The platform carries competitions such as Germany’s Handball Bundesliga and the Basketball Bundesliga, alongside domestic competitions and European tournaments, with access via the Dyn app across multiple platforms.

At the end of the 12-month bundle period, both HD+ and Dyn automatically revert to separate subscriptions, continuing unless customers opt out.

The HD+ Dyn bundle can be booked directly via the HD+ website, with customers receiving a voucher code for 12 months of Dyn, redeemable on Dyn’s own platform.
