The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), organized an awareness workshop under the SMEs Go Digital program, targeting institutions operating in Qatar’s healthcare sector.
The workshop aimed to promote the adoption of digital transformation solutions and the use of artificial intelligence to enhance services across the national healthcare system.
It highlighted the role of digital transformation and AI in driving innovation within healthcare institutions and featured a specialized session delivered by experts in healthcare digital transformation. Participants gained practical insights into how emerging technologies can empower healthcare providers, improve patient experience, increase operational efficiency, and create new opportunities for business growth.
The session showcased real-world applications of digital tools and AI, demonstrating how healthcare organizations can modernize workflows, enhance service delivery, and strengthen their readiness for future demands.
The workshop forms part of a broader series of specialized sessions organized by MCIT under the SMEs Go Digital program. The initiative targets small and medium-sized enterprises across key sectors, including tourism, education, healthcare, retail and wholesale, and transport and logistics.
The program aims to support innovation-driven business models and accelerate SME digital transformation by enabling the adoption of advanced technologies and strengthening digital readiness, in line with the objectives of Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030.
