Qatar-based telecommunications and ICT provider Ooredoo has signed a strategic cybersecurity partnership with Darktrace, a global leader in AI-driven security solutions. The agreement marks a key step in Ooredoo’s strategy to offer next-generation, AI-enabled cybersecurity services to organisations across Qatar.
Through the partnership, Ooredoo’s B2B customers will gain access to the Darktrace ActiveAI Security Platform, which is powered by Darktrace’s real-time Self-Learning AI. The platform is designed to protect enterprises against both known and emerging cyberthreats by continuously learning and adapting to each organisation’s unique digital environment.
The ActiveAI Security Platform provides autonomous threat detection, investigation, and response capabilities, including Darktrace’s Cyber AI Analyst, which accelerates incident analysis and mitigation. With real-time visibility and automated defence, enterprises can respond to cyber incidents with greater speed and accuracy while reducing operational risk.
Thani Ali I A Al-Malki, Chief Business Officer at Ooredoo Qatar, said the partnership strengthens Ooredoo’s managed cybersecurity portfolio and enables organisations to rely on advanced, self-learning AI to protect their operations. He added that the collaboration supports Ooredoo’s commitment to delivering intelligent, future-ready security solutions that enhance business resilience.
Darktrace noted that it has pioneered an AI-native, proactive cybersecurity model since 2013, using technology that learns directly from customer environments in real time to defend against unknown and evolving threats. The partnership with Ooredoo extends this approach to enterprises across Qatar.
