Supernet’s UAE subsidiary partners with Athena Telecom to enter maritime connectivity market

Supernet Limited’s wholly owned UAE-based subsidiary, Phoenix Global FZE (PGF), has signed a Joint Collaboration Agreement with Athena Telecommunications Equipment Trading Co. L.L.C. in the UAE. The partnership is aimed at jointly promoting and delivering a broad portfolio of maritime connectivity, safety, security, earth-observation, IoT, and related digital infrastructure solutions across regional and international markets.

Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on co-branded offerings, joint sales and marketing initiatives, and project-based commercial and revenue-sharing arrangements. The collaboration has been structured for an initial period of three years, with an option for renewal subject to mutual consent.

Through this strategic tie-up, Supernet plans to enter the expanding global maritime connectivity market via Phoenix Global FZE, while also broadening its overall solution portfolio. The partnership leverages Athena Telecom’s technical expertise alongside Supernet’s established commercial network to support regional and international expansion.

While the immediate financial impact of the agreement cannot be quantified, Supernet expects the collaboration to generate long-term commercial benefits and contribute to diversified revenue streams. The company has formally notified both the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan regarding the material development.
