Zong 4G, Pakistan’s leading information services and technology innovation company, inaugurated its state-of-the-art Tier-III Certified Cloud Intelligent Computing Center at its Islamabad Headquarters. The ceremony was led by Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Federal Minister for IT & Telecommunication, who praised the development as a significant milestone in strengthening Pakistan’s digital ecosystem. Senior government officials, industry leaders, and distinguished guests were also present.
The new facility reflects Zong’s continued commitment to building a secure, scalable, and future-ready digital foundation for the country. Built to international Tier-III standards, the Data Center is designed to support cloud services, enterprise-grade solutions, AI innovation, IoT integration, advanced cybersecurity capabilities, and next-generation connectivity. With modern server architecture and energy-efficient systems, it aligns with global sustainability and technology best practices while accelerating Pakistan’s nationwide digitalization goals.
Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja highlighted that the inauguration underscores the momentum of Pakistan’s digital transformation and the vital role of strong digital infrastructure in driving economic growth, innovation, and job creation. She acknowledged Zong’s consistent investment in advanced technologies as fully aligned with the Government’s vision of a connected and digitally empowered nation.
Zong 4G CEO Mr. Huo Junli emphasized the company’s dedication to building inclusive, high-impact digital ecosystems for Pakistan. He noted that the launch of the Cloud Intelligent Computing Center—along with Zong’s AI-enabled platform and cloud solutions—marks a decisive step toward a stronger digital economy. He also expressed appreciation for the Government’s support and reiterated Zong’s commitment to enabling Pakistan’s ICT advancement.
