Thai market leader AIS (Advanced Info Service) has tapped Netcracker for what the companies describe as the largest cloud deployment in Thailand.
In a bid to strengthen its converged mobile and broadband business and market share, AIS has deployed Netcracker’s Cloud-Native Revenue Management solution from its Digital BSS suite. The cloud-native platform will allow AIS to support innovative 5G business models, including enterprise 5G and IoT services, as the operator anticipates future expansion and evolving market requirements.
The platform supports B2C and B2B quad-play subscribers, offering flexible billing options with monthly, quarterly and annual subscription periods. It also provides AIS with improved scalability, allowing it to adapt to fluctuating business requirements and market demands, as well as cost optimisation to enable greater operational efficiencies. This in turn should improve time-to-market and in turn profitability.
“The successful end-to-end delivery of the new cloud-native revenue management platform within very challenging timelines has already proven its stability and scalability by supporting major launches and events such as the latest iPhone release without disruption,” said Mr. Bharat Alva, Chief Information Officer at AIS.
