Khazna Data Centers has appointed Mohammed Bin Hassan as Country Head for Saudi Arabia, marking a major step in its regional expansion following the acquisition of 225,000 square meters of land in Dammam for hyperscale data center development. In his new role, Bin Hassan will lead Khazna’s operations in the Kingdom, deepen partnerships with local clients, and drive long-term capacity growth aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
With more than 20 years of experience in national digital transformation and technology strategy, Bin Hassan previously served as Chief Digital Officer at a PIF company and played a key role in shaping Saudi Arabia’s SAR 6 billion Fourth Industrial Revolution strategy under Vision 2030.
Khazna’s first Saudi data center in Dammam will deliver up to 200 MW of AI-ready capacity and support high-performance workloads for cloud and hyperscale AI deployments. Designed with modular architecture, the facility will offer scalable, flexible infrastructure capable of accommodating advanced GPU clusters and varying power demands. The site will also integrate sustainability features and is being developed to LEED Gold standards.
Khazna currently operates 30 live data centers globally with nearly 650 MW of capacity and is building more than 1 GW of additional AI-ready infrastructure across multiple markets. Its entry into Saudi Arabia reinforces the Kingdom’s ambitions to become a global hub for AI, cloud, and sovereign digital infrastructure.
