Zattoo unveils modular business product portfolio for operators and OTT providers

TV streaming provider Zattoo has launched a major overhaul of its B2B product offering, introducing a modular architecture designed to give operators, ISPs and OTT providers greater flexibility in building and scaling their streaming services.

The new portfolio marks what the Swiss company describes as a decisive shift away from monolithic systems towards a “best-of-breed” suite built around three core modules – Zattoo Ingest, Zattoo Stream and Zattoo Orchestrate – complemented by its familiar end-to-end white-label service.

According to Zattoo, the restructuring aims to bring clarity and adaptability to a market increasingly defined by fragmentation, shifting user behaviour and pressure on operators to evolve their streaming strategies more rapidly.

The redefined portfolio places Zattoo’s offerings in four distinct product categories. Zattoo Ingest functions as a managed headend-as-a-service, handling ingest, encoding and packaging for IPTV, OTT and hybrid deployments. Zattoo Stream provides an API-based streaming layer for live, FAST and VOD content, integrating CDN delivery and dynamic ad insertion. Zattoo Orchestrate becomes the central management layer for products, pricing, analytics and personalisation, extending across backend and frontend workflows. Zattoo End2End remains the company’s fully managed white-label solution, covering everything from ingest to frontend applications, including content distribution and advertising technology.

According to Zattoo, the new architecture reflects how operators increasingly view their technology environments: not as single platforms but as interconnected value chains. By reducing technical lock-in and aligning with open standards, the company aims to support a broader set of partner integrations – from frontend SDKs to analytics and business logic extensions.

“The shift to our new portfolio and product architecture is a fundamental commitment to our partners’ cost efficiency and agility targets,” said Paul Fournier, Chief Operating Officer of Zattoo. “By moving core platform components into a new modular context, we are empowering operators in Europe and beyond to accelerate innovation, focus on their core competences, and decisively compete in the dynamic video streaming market.”

With streaming and broadcast technologies continuing to converge, Zattoo positions the new portfolio as the basis for what it calls a “streaming-as-an-ecosystem” approach – one in which modularity and scalability become key differentiators for operators seeking sustainable growth.
