Taboola partners with New Zealand's Stuff Digital for content recommendations

Taboola has announced a new partnership with New Zealand's news platform, Stuff Digital. This collaboration was established following a competitive pitch process, indicating a strategic move for both parties involved.

Under the terms of the partnership, Taboola will provide content recommendations and advertising solutions across Stuff.co.nz and its mobile application. Stuff Digital will leverage Taboola's suite of products, including Taboola Feed, which is designed for both sponsored and organic content. This integration aims to enhance user engagement and content discovery on Stuff's digital platforms.

Stuff.co.nz, owned by Stuff Group, is a significant player in New Zealand's digital media landscape. According to Nielsen DCM data from September 2025, Stuff.co.nz attracts nearly 2.3 million unique viewers each month. The platform offers a diverse range of content, including news, weather, sport, politics, video, entertainment, business, and lifestyle.

Stuff Group, formerly known as Fairfax Media, is recognised as New Zealand's largest digital media and experiences business. The group has a strong presence in the market, reaching millions of New Zealanders each month through its digital and print products. In 2025, Stuff Digital was named Digital News Provider of the Year at the Voyager Awards, underscoring its prominence in the industry.

Adam Singolda, Founder and CEO of Taboola, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. The partnership is effective immediately, marking the beginning of a new phase for both Taboola and Stuff Digital. This collaboration adds to Taboola's existing partnerships in Australia and New Zealand, which include TVNZ, Otago Daily Times, Sky News Australia, Seven West Media, Weatherzone, and Australian Community Media.
