True Corporation has raised Thailand’s 5G standards with the country’s first successful proof-of-concept (POC) of 5G carrier aggregation on the 2600 MHz and 2300 MHz bands. The breakthrough delivers up to 80% faster speeds for True and dtac customers, reinforcing the company’s commitment to network innovation under the campaign “POWER UP NATION’S SMILE: Ready! UP Signal, UP Happiness.”
According to True Corporation’s internal test results, combining the two mid-band frequencies enhances 5G performance by about 80% compared to previous configurations. In areas where full-band 90 MHz on 2600 MHz has already been deployed, the company also recorded a 50% uplift in performance, further improving the overall 5G experience.
