Telia announced a new scalable IoT platform and the service Telia IoT Monitoring.
Telia IoT Platform is a secure and scalable IoT and AI platform that makes it easy for businesses to collect, visualize, analyze, and process data from connected devices.
The goal is to simplify the rollout and scaling of IoT solutions, thereby driving digitalization forward. At the same time, the platform's first service, Telia IoT Monitoring, is being launched to simplify the collection of device data.
The Telia IoT Platform is based on technology from the Finnish technology company Wapice and uses Telia's secure and robust mobile network, which more than 99 percent of Norway's population has access to. The platform, developed with a simple and intuitive interface, is now available in the Nordic region and already handles 28,000 connected devices from customers in both the private and public sectors.

Telia IoT Monitoring is a wireless plug-and-play solution that provides businesses with fast and secure monitoring of sensors and devices—without the need for their own IoT infrastructure. Everything is managed in a single user-friendly portal, with easy scaling and integration with existing systems. In addition, IoT specialists with expert competence are offered to help companies get started.
The service is now being launched broadly but is already operational with several Swedish customers, including LF Skåne Hyresfastigheter, which with Telia IoT Monitoring improves indoor climate and streamlines property operations in 16 buildings and 625 apartments, benefiting both tenants and the environment.
