Telecom Fiji announced that it has launched NetSafe, a new network-based cybersecurity service for businesses delivered in partnership with telecoms software firm Allot.
The NetSafe service – which was officially launched at the end of the Pacific Fiber Conference 2025 in Fiji on Thursday – leverages the Allot Secure solution to offer protection against online threats including malware attacks, ransomware, phishing attempts and malicious websites that can infect devices or attempt to steal sensitive data.
Li Weiming, Asia Pacific VP of sales for Allot, said NetSafe gives Telecom Fiji customers seamless protection without the need for additional software or complex installations, as the security is embedded directly into the network.
“Our network-based threat protection solution is designed to offer seamless and comprehensive security, enabling businesses to operate with confidence and resilience in the face of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats,” Li said in a statement.
“Through this platform, Telecom can offer unified and managed cybersecurity solutions that operate seamlessly at the network level, providing businesses an additional layer of protection against any threats,” added Telecom Fiji CEO Charles Goundar.
