CELLEMPOWER JOINS SAMENA
DUBAI, UAE - November 22, 2007 — SAMENA Telecommunications Council has brought on board yet another valued member: Cellempower.
Founded in Dubai, UAE in 2004, by a team of experts in the fields of marketing, telecommunications, business development and technology, Cellempower is a one-stop-shop for mobile telecom operators, international brands, enterprises, and content and application providers.
Cellempower offers comprehensive end-to-end solutions to enable new revenue streams and achieve strategic and business objectives by leveraging the full capabilities of wireless technologies under the model of Wireless Application Service Provider.
Cellempower maintains two core activities are Mobile Value Added Services Platforms and Mobile Marketing, which are served by the Wireless Content and Applications department.
Cellempower has also established strategic business partnerships to provide the best up-to-date products and solutions, and content and applications in its targeted markets. More than 20 regional and international content providers joined Cellempower's "Content Program" and companies like Dassault Multimedia, via their subsidiary Halys, have trusted Cellempower to be their System Integrator in the MEA region.
Following almost two years of operation, Cellempower's success regarded amongst the leaders in Mobile Marketing in particular, and Mobile VAS in general, has resulted in a take over by i2 Group, the largest distributor of mobile technology in the Middle East and Africa, backed by an extensive retail network and financial strength. i2 products and services now reach customers in more than 20 countries through over 340 retail stores, strengthening Cellempower's reach across the whole MENA Region as well as Europe and Africa.
