Pakistan's Warid Telecom has announced the official launch of its LTE service, with coverage in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Faisalabad and Gujranwala.
This makes Warid Telecom Pakistan's first operator to transform from 2G to LTE technology.
Warid added that it is investing around USD500 million over the next five years to expand its network across the country. Ericsson is the chosen network provider.
