SIPTalk now offers a business-oriented cloud PBX service called OnPBX alongside its consumer VoIP plans.
Adelaide-based VoIP provider SIPTalk is following MyNetFone's lead by moving into the small business market with a cloud-based PABX service.
SIPTalk OnPBX offers the usual features, including free calls between offices, simultaneous rings on all handsets, ring groups, outbound-bound caller ID, simple conference calling, auto-attendant, voicemail to email, fax to PDF, comprehensive call reporting, call recording, music on hold, and the ability to port existing phone numbers to the service.
Two types of plans are available, depending on whether or not you want included calls.
Inclusive plans start at $24.95 per handset per month. There's no extra charge for local and national calls, but calls to mobiles cost 30c each, international calls start at 20c for 15 minutes, and calls to 13 and 1300 numbers are 25c each.
The $39.95 plan includes calls to mobiles, and $49.95 also adds international calls to 25 countries.
If the traditional 'pay as you go' model suits you better, OnPBX's options start at $29.95 for three extensions, each with its own phone number. Local and national calls cost 12c each, mobile calls are 16c per minute, 13/1300 calls are 25c each, and international calls start at 2c per minute.
Similar plans are available with five, eight and ten extensions ($49.95, $69.95 and $89.95 respectively), with the added attraction of slightly cheaper local, national and mobile calls.
On all plans, extra charges apply for certain features, including some of those listed above (eg, call recording is $5 per month; number porting costs $25 upfront and then $1 per month). And not all features are available on all plans.
SIPTalk also offers a range of snom IP phones that can be purchased outright or spread over the term of an OnPBX contract, as well as various accessories including Power over Ethernet switches.
