The inaugural episode of the all UAE inter-school competition, Etisalat Rangoli Gulf Season 2, was telecast on Friday 28th September 2012 at 7.30 pm on e-masala Channel #600 and repeated at 9.30pm on +2 channel #602, available to all eLife triple play and e-vision customers.
Etisalat Rangoli Gulf was staged at the art auditoriums of Wellington International School and Dubai Modern High School during 12 days of non-stop competition and celebration. Over 500 student artists from eighteen schools from all the seven Emirates of the UAE participated and gave sizzling performances during the preliminary and final rounds of the contest.
Eighteen top schools of the UAE participated in the Rangoli Gulf preliminary rounds with super action performances.

Commenting on the launch of the Rangoli second season, Humaid Rashid Sahoo, CEO, e-vision said, “This Season, Etisalat Rangoli Gulf is even better in terms of the number of schools participating from across the Emirates. Season 2 proved to be a win-win celebration where each participant is a winner and there are no losers.”
The performances in Rangoli Gulf proved to be a brilliant amalgamation of music, dance and drama at its best. The participants performed with enthusiasm and the presented a cocktail of melody and rhythm, varying from classical to contemporary and pop. Watching the school performances, one senior jury member exclaimed, “Awesome, the performance is high octane. I am disappointed because I cannot give you more than 100 marks!”
Etisalat Rangoli Gulf will be televised as 35 super action episodes on e-masala for the convenience of the thousands of students, teachers and parents who were part of the competition. Each Rangoli episode will be televised twice on Fridays (7.30 and 9.30 pm) and repeated on Mondays on channel #600 and channel # 602 respectively.
The Grand Finale and Prize Distribution ceremony will be held in February 2013.
