The elected STG Board of Director for the new term (2012-2015) held a procedural emergency meeting no. (1) on Thursday the 7th of June 2012 in order to look into the election of the Board chairman, the Board vice-chairman, the Chairmen and members of the executive, scrutiny and follow-up committees in the Board.
The meeting resulted in the agreement of the Board to elect the chairman, the vice-chairman and the heads and members of the different Board committees on the following manner:
First: electing Dr. Mohamed Kheir El Zubier, the Governor of the Central Bank, as the Chairman of the Board and the Chairman of the Executive Committee
Second: electing Mr. Hassan Osman Sakota as the Vice-Chairman of the Board.
Third: electing the Retired General Jurist Hatim El Wasila Elsamani as the Chairman of the Scrutiny Committee.
Fourth: electing Dr. Siraj Eldeen Abdel Ghafar as the Chairman of the Follow-up and Reward Committee.
It is worth mentioning that the STG new Board comprises in its membership each of the following:
1. Dr. Mohamed Kheir El Zubeir– Representative of the Central Bank of Sudan
2. The Retired General Jurist Hatim El Wasila Elsamani – Representative of the Government of Sudan.
3. Mr. Yousif Abdalla El Hussien- Representative of the Government of Sudan.
4. Mr. Hassan Osman Sakota– Representative of Tadamon Islamic Bank
5. Mr. Sami Yousif Mohamed– Representative of the Arab Investment Company (Riyadh)
6. Mr. Ahmed Rashid El Sewady- Representative of Qatar Telecommunications Company
7. Mr. Elamin Ahmed Eias– Representative of SAMT Engineering Company
8. Mr. Abdelaziz Osman Abdelaziz- representative of High Tech Group
9. Mr. Kamal Hamza El Hassan– Personal Representation
10. Dr. Siraj El Deen Abdel Ghafar- Personal Representation
