The Emirates Data Clearing House (EDCH) has successfully concluded its ‘12th User Group Meeting’ (UGM) in Dubai. The annual event hosted more than 100 delegates from GSM operators across the GCC, Middle East, Africa, Far East and Europe.
A key theme for this year’s UGM was a new service from EDCH called Preferred Roaming Agreement (PRA) Settlement. By outsourcing the PRA settlement process to EDCH the operator will benefit from EDCH’s solution including validating agreements, traffic reports, discount calculation, issuing credit / debit notes and storing historical Transferred Account Procedure (TAP) data.
A number of additional topics were covered during the two-day event, including Data & Financial Clearing, Roaming Agreement Exchange (RAEX) 2012, New Roaming Generation (LTE), Embedded Mobile (M2M), Electronic Invoice Data Exchange (EID), Payment Notification Report (PNR), Training, Online Services and Roaming Profit Optimization, amongst others.
EDCH also provided attendees with the opportunity to experience its new online reporting tool, which is set to be released later in the year. The new online reporting tool will introduce an improved user interface, faster processing & reporting, drag and drop functionality, IMSI level reporting, report customization, comprehensive filtering, new data export options, information representation in the form of charts and graphs, and much more.
