PLDT Enterprise teams with Tiktok to target SMEs and creators

PLDT Enterprise announced that it is collaborating with TikTok to launch TikTok Go LIVE! Studio Packages targeted at creators, multi-channel networks (MCNs) and SMEs in the Philippines.

The partnership aims to combine PLDT Enterprise’s connectivity solutions and managed services with TikTok’s ecosystem to provide customers with reliable enterprise-grade infrastructure and innovative digital solutions for their livestreaming and content creation activities.

PLDT said that TikTok MCNs will get dedicated, strong, stable, and secure connectivity, robust backend support, and 24x7 customer care to support uninterrupted livestreaming operation, while content creators gain a more consistent streaming environment capable of handling strong audience growth and sustained viewer engagement.

For SMEs, TikTok Go LIVE! offers them a chance to become TikTok MCN partners, which in turn gives then the ability to offer creators brand deals with higher commissions, faster audience growth via cross-promotion, access to exclusive tools and training, operational support for content and strategy, and intellectual property protection, all of which allows creators to focus on content creation and selling.

Vic Tria, PLDT Enterprise’s head of Enterprise Domestic Business and SME, said TikTok content has evolved over the past few years in the Philippines from a novelty to a necessity for many businesses.

“It’s also not something for the far future. It’s happening now as we speak. This collaboration is exactly for that: to help SMEs, MCNs, and creators work more efficiently and ensure their online marketing efforts are backed by dependable infrastructure, connectivity, and digital solutions,” Tria said in a statement.
