The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), through the TASMU Innovation Lab, has organized a workshop titled “Technology Radar: Emerging Trends in Education” to identify and prioritize new digital technologies that can support Qatar’s education transformation goals under the Digital Agenda 2030.
Experts from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and leading universities joined the sessions to analyze global technology trends and assess their application within Qatar’s educational landscape. Participants used a prioritization framework to evaluate practical use cases, encouraging collaboration among stakeholders to adopt solutions with the highest impact on learning outcomes.
Eman Al Kuwari, Director of Digital Innovation at MCIT, said the initiative enables decision-makers to better understand and adopt emerging technologies that enhance teaching quality, improve institutional efficiency, and build a sustainable digital education ecosystem aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Education Technology Radar builds on similar work already completed in the healthcare sector. MCIT will now conduct a specialized review with experts to validate recommendations before announcing final results and driving broader awareness and adoption across the education sector.
