CENTILE EXPANDS SAMENA’s MEMBERSHIP BASE    Top

DUBAI, UAE — December 22, 2006 — SAMENA Telecommunications Council, the region’s premier non-profit telecoms association, today announced that Centile, one of the leading enablers of next-generation SIP-based services for converged Fixed-Mobile and multimedia applications, is now a SAMENA Member.

Centile has agreed to support the Council’s goal of creating an open and collaboration-driven front, encompassing a multi-faceted approach to introduce innovations in telecoms expansion efforts throughout the SAMENA region.

Mr. Ahmed Bouna, Centile’s EMEA Sales Director, said “joining SAMENA is strategically sound for us. We develop VoIP applications for converged fixed and mobile services, and thoroughly understand the telecoms convergence that is slowly catching up, and which the operators need to embrace. As a VoIP applications software vendor, Centile is honored to work very closely with SAMENA, to be part of its business-focused strides to help us reach a new level of profitability. We will be sharing all our VoIP expertise with SAMENA’s members”.

SAMENA’s executive team welcomes on board Mr. Ahmed Bouna, Centile’s primary link to SAMENA, and anticipates a long, mutually beneficial relationship with Centile.

The new SAMENA Member will be exhibiting its latest consumer and enterprise-based telecoms solutions at SAMENA’s upcoming corporate-level event, Beyond Connectivity. The event will be held between January 21 and 23, 2007 in Dubai.

Centile is a leading enabler of next-generation SIP-based services for converged Fixed-Mobile and multimedia applications, and allows operators to offer unique value-added and cost-effective new multimedia services to both the business and consumer markets. Its pre-IMS VoIP applications platform, the IntraSwitch, provides the scalability, reliability and manageability to support hundreds of thousands of customers in a highly distributed and modular architecture. The platform comes fully loaded with ready-to-market service functionalities, which include Business Trunking, VoIP VPN, IP Centrex, Hybrid IP Centrex, Mobile IP Centrex, Intra Centrex, and Residential VoIP. Additionally, the platform offers value-added Class 5 features that include CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), a full Media Server with IVRs (Interactive Voice Response), ACD (Automatic Call Distribution), Conferencing, Presence Management, Instant Messaging, and Video support.
