Minister for Information Technology Syed Amin Ul Haque has said that all obstacles in the way of investments into IT and Telecom sectors will be removed.
He gave the assurance while talking to a high-level delegation of Sunwalk Group led by its Chairman Mr HOU who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the Sunwalk Group expressed intention to invest 2 billion dollars in telecom sector for the deployment of an Optical Fiber Network on an area of 100,000 km.
Syed Amin Ul Haque briefed the delegation that consultation with the Ministry of Railways and National Highways Authority is ongoing regarding the Right of Way to laying the optical fiber network.
Sunwalk (Pvt) Ltd, is a Telecom and Technology based multinational private Chinese enterprise that has acquired a TIP License in Pakistan.
