Datagroup-Volia invests in Ukrainian infrastructure

The Ukrainian telco Datagroup-Volia has completed the first stage of its network modernisation programme in partnership with Cisco.

To date, it has spent UAH500 million (€13.47 million) on the programme.

According to Andrii Val, technical director of Datagroup-Volia, “After the completion of the project, our network will become one of the largest and most flexible in the telecom market of Ukraine. This has already provided new opportunities in building fail-safe and high-speed communication channels for our corporate and wholesale customers and partners. And for home subscribers, the speed of Internet access has already increased with minimal delay during peak hours”.

Serhiy Martynchuk, head of the Cisco Representative Office in Ukraine, added: “After the completion of the project, our network will become one of the largest and most flexible in the telecom market of Ukraine. This has already provided new opportunities in building fail-safe and high-speed communication channels for our corporate and wholesale customers and partners. And for home subscribers, the speed of Internet access has already increased with minimal delay during peak hours”.
