Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, participated in the Kuwait Oil Company “KOC” first ‘Back-to-School’ exhibition 2022. Through its participation, stc presented visitors with a range of special promotions tailored for students returning to school.
The KOC first ‘Back-to-School’ exhibition was held from the 7th – 8th of September 2022, welcoming KOC members, their families, as well as other visitors considering that the event was open to the public. stc participated in the initiative by setting up a dedicated booth at the exhibition in the presence of Anfal Abdulraheem from the Corporate Communications Team at stc, in which the Company greeted visitors and provided them with more information regarding the special offers and promotions. Additionally, stc organized several activities and games for the visitors, where the winners received stc giveaways.
stc indicated in a statement that the Company was proud to participate in an initiative that aimed to uplift the spirits of students as they started the new school year. The exhibition, organized by KOC for the first time, allowed several organizations to come together and provide students with exclusive promotions to support their return to school. The objectives behind the initiative fall in line with the various activities in which stc has participated in the past to support students and the local education system. stc formed successful collaborations over the years with private and public entities that have in return enabled the Company to create a wider positive impact in the community.
It is also worth mentioning that education serves as one of the key pillars of stc’s extensive corporate social responsibility program. The Company has organized several initiatives this year that primarily focused on empowering and educating the younger generation and supporting the local education sector. As part of its series of summer activities, stc has also organized and participated in several initiatives that focused on education. One of which involved educating children on the importance of maintaining proper mind, body and nutritional health.
