The Slovak operator Slovanet has launched a new a more advanced IPTV service with an additional OTT offer.
Known as Slovanet TV, it includes over 50 of the most watched TV channels from a total of 150, with a weekly archive expanded from 15 to almost 120 channels. Meanwhile, total broadcasting recording time has been increased from three to 50 hours.
Slovanet TV can be received on up to four TV devices, including smart TVs with newer Android, LG and soon Samsung systems.
Slovanet TV is mainly being offered as a discounted package together with internet access. The initial monthly fee for the cheapest package is€10.50, rising to €21. The TV service can be received on its own on Slovanet’s fibre network for €13 a month.
The additional OTT offer is known as Slovanet TV+ and can be received on smartphones, tablets or PCs. Costing €3 a month, it can only be accessed alongside Slovanet TV.
