stc Group inaugurated the hologram doctor service for the Hajj season 1443 AH, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, and the Chief Business Officer of stc Group, Eng. Riyadh Muawad. This service provides medical advice to pilgrims through 3D technology and allows remote medical consultations through the 5G network and direct health examination via cloud.
stc achieves greater horizons through enhancing innovation and digitization to enrich the pilgrims experience, as the service was launched on a trial basis from the “Seha” virtual hospital in Riyadh to the clinic of Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah as a first stage.
This technology allows, using the 5G network, to connect the medical service to patients and serve them in all regions of the Kingdom, were there is one doctor in more than one place. This technology also provides a direct examination of all vital signs that the doctor needs, allowing the patient to recieve the appropriate medical advice directly and quickly, at the same moment.
The advanced hologram doctor technology is an extension of stc's efforts to support and empower all government and private sectors digitally, and its pioneering contribution to promoting digital transformation in the Kingdom and enhancing its services provided to pilgrims.
