Warner Bros. Discovery will roll out its streaming service Discovery+ in Germany and Austria on June 28, 2022.
The line-up includes movies, series, documentaries, live sports and shows as well as local original productions. In addition to on-demand content, the service will comprise linear TV channels Eurosport 1 and 2, DMAX, TLC, Home & Garden TV and Tele 5 as live-streams.
Two subscription models will be offered: an ad-supported version for €3.99 per month and a commercial-free version for €5.99 per month. A discount is available for viewers signing up for a 12-month contract, costing €39.99 (with ads) and €59.99 (without ads).
Sky Q customers get Discovery+ for free in the first 12 months.
The service will be available as an app in all major app stores, through smart TVs and streaming devices as well as directly via the web at www.discoveryplus.com.
