Jurassic Fibre FTTP network now passes more than 90,000 premises

British full fibre broadband provider Jurassic Fibre has announced that its fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) network now passes more than 90,000 homes/businesses, up from 75,000 in March 2022, according to ISPreview. With the operator said to have most recently begun its network deployment in the town of Wincanton in Somerset, the report notes that the first customers in the village of Street, also in the same county, are now connecting to the company’s infrastructure.

Exeter-based Jurassic Fibre is focused on rolling out its infrastructure across Devon, Somerset, Cornwall and Dorset, and ultimately aims to cover 350,000 premises across the South West of England by the end of 2024. Its network rollout is being supported by GBP250 million (USD306 million) investment made by Fern Trading.
