stc Group spotlights the outstanding contributions of its partners at 10th “Partners Day” ceremony

stc Group celebrated the 10th Partners Awards ceremony for the success achieved by the group and its partners who contributed to achieving stc’s strategy across developing the local content. The ceremony took place in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Khalid Al Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of stc, and His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef and a group of excellencies and executives from stc.

stc Group honored its international and local partners with several awards, based on its commitment to developing local content, achieving a strong and sustainable economy, and localizing the ICT industry, by bringing international expertise and signing partnerships.

This celebration is the outcome of both, stc’s and partners’ successes during the past five years. Steered by its “Dare” strategy — which aims to improve and develop the local economy, while safeguarding the Kingdom’s sustainable growth, and support its human capital development — the group has successfully raised the bar for service excellence, contributing to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030. This has been reiterated by its efforts to empower Saudis and improve the participation of women across its workforce.

stc is leading the development of local content in the Kingdom through the implementation of its “Rawafed” program — an initiative that has proven incredibly beneficial, as evinced by the value of annual spending on local content. The program has also supported the growth of small and medium-sized companies, in addition to injecting billions into local content purchases through high-value projects. The group recently published its local content report, highlighting 27 investment opportunities, which led to the establishment of the newly launched stc Group data center. Additionally, stc has partnered with Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia to establish three innovation centers for research and development in the Kingdom.

In recognition of its partners’ efforts who have effectively contributed to the company’s strategic goals, stc Group honored a number of distinguished partners as follows: the Partnership Award in Digital Transformation Programs was presented to Master Works Company, the Award for Renewing Customer Experience was presented to ABANA Company, the Award for International Digital Transformation was presented to Ericsson Company, and the International Operational Excellence Award was presented to Cisco, while the International Customer Experience Renewal Award, was presented to ZTE, and finally the International Growth Contribution Award was presented to Huawei.

Additionally, stc presented several awards under the “Rawafed Partner” category, especially that local content is of great significance to stc, within its leadership role and its scope to stimulate the National Transformation Program. The awards were distributed as follows: the Industrial Localization Award was presented to Huawei, the Innovation Award was presented to Ericsson, while the Small and Medium Enterprises Support Award presented to Juniper Networks, and finally the Workforce Development Award was presented to Ericsson.
