Gaumont is launching an SVOD service featuring films from French black and white cinema on the Netgem Content-as-a-Service platform.
Gaumont Classique will offer 200 titles and 70 hours of additional content. It will benefit from some of the Netgem platform features including the dynamic editorialization of films and their associated content, control of the number of devices allowed for simultaneous viewing, subtitling, and ‘sustainable streaming’, which allows the bandwidth of films to be reduced, limiting their environmental impact.
