stc, the digital enabler in the region, participates in the Future Aviation Forum 2022 organized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh, which discusses investment opportunities in the civil aviation sector.
stc's support for the conference comes within its role as a leading digital enabler in the Kingdom and as part of its efforts to support the digital transformation in the logistic sector in Saudi Arabia to keep pace with the objectives of the national strategy for transport and logistics services, including strategic partnerships with regional and international organizations and private sector. Additionally, stc will continue researching, innovating and adopting latest technologies in the field of transport and logistics, contributing to place the Kingdom as a global center for the future of transport and logistics services, in accordance with the objectives of Vision 2030.
On another hand, stc recently signed an agreement with Airbus International, the world leader in the aviation industry to provide mission-critical communications solutions. The agreement included identifying and evaluating Airbus' efforts through the use of stc's infrastructure, Everus Manpack mobile network station coverage, managed services for cybersecurity, and communications via satellite, and the secure collaboration platform Tactilon Agnet.
stc supports accelerating and enabling the implementation of 5G technology in the logistic sector, through signing different agreements, including but not limited to, the agreement with the General Authority of Ports to transform into automated smart ports by adopting the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution with its advanced applications, and relying on Artificial intelligence technology, Internet of things, 5G technologies, cloud computing, cybersecurity, application services and platforms.
It is worth noting that the forum highlights the possibility of investing in promising opportunities and expanding in the aviation sector to achieve the sector's strategic vision. The forum will be attended by elite leaders of the civil aviation sector around the world.
