Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, has announced its collaboration with Teeela Toys and the Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital & Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice (KACCH & BACCH”). This collaboration aims to draw a smile on the children’s faces through distributing gifts and toys to children’s playrooms in hospitals in line with stc corporate social responsibility strategy.
The event attended by Dr. Maytham Hussein - CEO & Medical Manager of KACCH & BACCH, is an initiative taken towards enhancing stc’s relationships with such organization that focuses on supporting children in hospitals. During the event, the team at KACCH & BACCH with the support of stc’s Corporate Communications team, distributed toys, in collaboration with TEEELA, distributed toys to the different playrooms at the hospital in an effort to draw a smile on the children’s faces and entertain the children at the hospitals.
On the sideline of the event and in recognition of the collaborative efforts, Danah AlJasem - General Manager of Corporate Communications at stc honored the team at KACCH & BACCH as a token of appreciation for their hard work and efforts, while commemorating the humanitarian initiative. She also stressed on the importance of such initiative and the collaboration with KACCH & BACCH that would lead to many more initiatives with the sole objective of supporting the community and children.
On this occasion, Danah AlJasem, General Manager of Corporate Communications at stc said, The campaign that stc has launched in celebration of the national days will be filled with interactive and community driven activities during the month of February. She added, “The corporate communications team at stc aims through the extensive CSR agenda in place to spread joy and happiness amongst all the people in Kuwait while celebrating the national days and instilling the spirit of positivity and offering support to those children”.
She added, “This collaboration with Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital & Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice (KACCH & BACCH) is the outcome of the beneficial & fruitful relationships stc has bridged with different organizations & entities yielding to numerous initiatives and activities that can add value to the community. We at stc, have always been committed to proactively giving back to the community, and believe that even the smallest gesture can make a difference.
AlJasem expressed her happiness with the outcome of this initiative as all teams involved worked together to bring joy and happiness to the children’s hearts as it falls under the true values behind the month of February and the celebrations of the national holidays. She also added that the collaboration with TEEELA toys in this initiative comes in line with stc’s overall CSR strategy to encourage national projects led by Kuwaiti young entrepreneurs, and supporting SMEs and the national economy.
In her concluding statement, AlJasem wished Kuwait’s leadership, citizens, and all those residing in Kuwait on the country’s National and Liberation Days on February 25th and the 26th, respectively.
