The Polish public broadcaster TVP is preparing to launch a new on demand service in the first quarter of this year.
According to press.pl>, it will be known as TVP Go and available on mobile devices and via HbbTV. It will subsequently also be accessible on smart TV sets.
TVP Go will target young viewers and encourage them to switch from pay to terrestrial TV services.
In addition, it will aim to include must carry/offer channels in its offer, including those operated by the private broadcasters Polsat and TVN.
TVP Go is likely to replace TVP’s existing on demand service TVP VOD.
