Bangladesh ended last November with more than 181.53 million mobile phone subscribers, up from 181.32 million in October.
The number of mobile SIM users increased by 0.21 million in November compared to September this year, according to the data of the Bangladesh Telecommunication and Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
The number of mobile phone users was 180.25 million in September while it was 178.61 million at the end of August 2021.
Subscribers are the biometrically verified who have any activity (voice, data, sms etc.) at least once in the preceding 90 days, the telecoms regulator said.
In November, Grameenphone users stood at 84.04 million while Robi at 53.72 million, Banglalink at 37.21 million and Teletalk at 6.56 million, which were respectively 84.12 million, 53.54 million, 37.17 million and 6.49 million in October respectively.
The number of mobile SIM users reached 171.854 million at the end of January 2021.
