Poland's Plus and Aero2 complete merger

Polsat Plus Group in Poland has officially announced the completion of the merger of its two mobile network subsidiaries, Polkomtel, trading under the Plus brand, and Aero2.

The Plus network operator will now provide services that Aero2 had been responsible for. However, Polkomtel’s announcements suggest that Aero2 customers don’t need to be worried. The customers will be informed about changes directly through a correspondence.

"All Aero2 services are now offered by Plus, including the free wireless internet service which runs on its 2.6GHz TD-LTE network," it said.

The merger was announced in September, with Polsat Plus saying it was designed to simplify the group structure.

"Plus now provides the wRodzinie VoIP service. This offer is available to existing customers. The only change was in the network operator. Users can access the account management page and the application “moje wRodzinie” and continue to use the service," said a release.

"You can also activate packages through the promotional offer," Polkomtel informed.
