Digicel Saint Lucia has boosted the transmission speeds available via its existing fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network, with the introduction of 1Gbps download speeds.
Offered under the ‘Digicel+’ brand that is already used by Digicel Group in other Caribbean markets, the gigabit download package is priced at XCD999 (USD370) per month. Upload speeds are set at 40Mbps, while installation is free of charge. Digicel+ is said to be available select areas of Castries, Vieux-Fort and Gros Islet, although new locations are said to be coming soon.
