US streaming provider Roku is introducing the new category “Channels with Live TV” in Germany.
The offer comprises more than 400 domestic and international live TV channels, including the channels of public broadcaster ARD, thematic and regional public channels, commercial channels such as RTL, Sat.1 and ProSieben as well as foreign-language services like TRT World and kartina.tv.
Further live TV channels will be added in the next few weeks. For reception, viewers need a streaming player or streaming stick from Roku that connects the TV set to the internet.
