Romanian-backed DIGI Mobil has announced the launch of a symmetrical 10Gbps (down/uplink) fixed broadband service in Madrid.
The new package – branded ‘PRO-DIGI’ – went live on 9 September, with a monthly subscription priced at just EUR30 (USD35.5). The telco notes: ‘To achieve maximum speed, you need to have a 10Gbps network card or a 10Gbps Thunderbolt 3 adapter on your computer.’ Coverage is currently restricted to ‘fibre zones’ in the SMART de la Comunidad de Madrid.
