Huawei and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding on establishing an information and communication technology academy on the university campus.
Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited’s enterprise business group wing vice-president Linzhijun and the university’s vice-chancellor Professor Satya Prasad Majumder signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at a ceremony held at BUET Council Building.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will collaborate in establishing the ICT academy on the university campus, said a press release.
Deputy minister for education Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury MP attended the ceremony virtually as the chief guest. Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) COO Tao Guangyao and the company’s senior officials and the university’s teachers were also present.
