Telecom Egypt (TE), the integrated telecommunications operators, has turned to IBM and Red Hat to help the country build an open, hybrid cloud strategy. This will help in modernizing their cloud operations while accelerating their digital transformation journey.
In this context, TE selects IBM Cloud Pak for automation that is built on Red Hat OpenShift. This is to prepare efficient, flexible, and future-ready network operations and facilitate new digital services.
With this partnership with IBM, the network operator plans to infuse artificial intelligence in its workflows across various cloud or on-premises environments. This would help develop an advanced cloud hub in Egypt while delivering the first state-of-the-art data center. It will be done with access to various global submarine cable systems that land in Egypt.
