The Czech internet and satellite TV operator Telly has signed an extension to its distribution agreement with Discovery.
As a result, Telly’s customers will continue to receive the portfolio of Discovery channels, including Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, the crime channel ID: Investigation Discovery and lifestyle channels DTX, TLC, Travel Channel and Food Network.
At the same time, they will not lose the popular sports channels Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2.
Commenting on the development, Telly’s startegy director Vladimir Rusnak said: “We see Discovery as a distributor of high-quality content. Personally, I am very pleased that we have reached an agreement and agreed to extend our cooperation”.
Telly is owned by the Czech Republic’s Lama Energy Group.
